The ABS “Footprint Fun Run” took place on a damp Sunday 24 June, as part of Architecture Week 2007. We ran 6km across London from Islington to Southwark, finishing at Bankside in front of the Tate Modern.
Fifty-eight runners sacrificed their Sunday morning lie-in, prepared to run despite the wet weather and do their bit for the 560 people the Society helps each year.
Our lovely green t-shirts were paid for by sponsorship from Daniel Owen Associates
The fastest man - Chris Burton, winner for the second year running (although slower this year!) and fastest woman Julie Stewart were given a bottle of champagne, donated by Arturell and Kirkland. A big thank you to all the individuals and practices who took part - look out for the event again next year (perhaps someone can knock Team Eric Parry off of top spot?)
RESULTS:
The rain played havoc with our time sheet, with raindrops landing in all the wrong places. The results we have pieced together are as follows (any errors or ommissions please let me know peter@absnet.org.uk and I'll put it right)
