Little or large fundraising events

Whatever the size of your event, the money raised will be put to good use in helping the society to provide a range of different kinds of help.

Raffles, auctions, coffee mornings, swear boxes and dress down days at work have all raised good money for the ABS.

Summer balls, Christmas banquets and even donations in lieu of wedding gifts not only raise money but, in some cases, provide opportunities to show a short DVD about our work. This provides useful information for those who want to help or perhaps for those who may need help now or in the future. None of us know what that holds!

Dawson stelfox, Immediate Past President of the Royal Society of Ulster Architects, is an accomplished mountain climber and he has arranged a number of sponsored climbs including the well known Three Peaks. Read about his latest 12 Peaks Challenge undertaken just a few weeks ago...

Peter Murray is arranging a sponsored cycle ride from Portland Place, London to Portland, Oregon in 2013. He wants a group of cyclists to join him for short sections or the whole trip which will take approximately three months. Contact laura@absnet.org.uk for more information.
