Ian Catherall is a Chartered Architect in private practice in Yorkshire. Although on short time himself he is coping with the recession and he has come up with a novel way to raise funds for the ABS to help others less fortunate.
Over the past months he has been able to indulge more time into his hobby of writing music and he now has 3 albums for sale independently on a download site. 50% of his earnings from downloads will be donated to the ABS and 50% to a cancer charity.
His music is available exclusively for digital download here: www.musiczeit.com/ian_c
Previews can be heard at www.reverbnation.com/ianc and www.myspace.com/iancatherall
The ABS is most grateful to Ian for his unique idea to raise funds for the Society. Last year we provided redundancy advice to over 2,200 people and helped a further 580 people, usually with direct financial aid, but also with advice and support. So any help from the professions we serve is gratefully received. If you would like to do something to raise funds please let us know at fundraising@absnet.org.uk so we can support your efforts as much as we can.
