Sunand Prasad to become ABS President

Our support to over 650 architects, assistants, landscape architects and their dependants includes practical help like confidential advice, grants, gifts and loans.

During the recession the Society has been able to provide guidance to over 2 000 redundant architects about redundancy laws, benefits, job searching and interview skills. In recent years more than half of those helped have been under 65 and one in five has been under thirty-five.

Ken Shuttleworth’s priority was to assist the Society in engaging with younger members of the profession through a variety of initiatives. He has ended his second term as ABS President by designing and producing the award platter to be presented to the winner of the Worshipful Company of Chartered Architects Award for help given to the ABS.
